I'm Gerry Hurtado, a pen & ink artist who finds beauty in the dance between control and spontaneity. Some lines I labor over—measured, deliberate, exact. Others flow freely, loose and expressive, trusting the movement of my hand.
Working with traditional tools—fine-tip pens, ink, and watercolor—I embrace both the discipline of detailed work and the energy of gestural marks. This balance creates pieces that feel both intentional and alive, where tight precision meets loose exploration.
